It takes about 20 minutes from the airport to Luxor centre and about 40 minutes to the Apartments on the West Bank, due to the distance to the nearest bridge crossing.

By Bus: Regular buses run between Luxor centre and the airport, though they are often crowded.

By Taxi: Taxis can be found outside the arrival hall. The cost is about 50EL (about 4.50 GBP) to Luxor Centre, and about twice that to the apartments.

By Car: The airport is just off the 02 highway, which runs along side the east bank of the Nile directly into Luxor centre. Car hire prices begin around 2500EL (about 225 GBP) for 7 days. Car rental desks can be found in the airport terminal.
